Downloading Tutorial

Since we're dealing with a ZIP file we will have to extract it now. Right click, choose Extract here and.....

.....shortly a file, perhaps several, perhaps many files are extracted right into the same folder as the downloaded file from which it (or they) were extracted. This is where making a new folder for this file starts to make our life easier.

If the extracted file is or has a Setup file (almost always called Setup.exe as above, although you will occasionally run into Install.exe) you can run it now or wait until later. If you want to run it now just click on it and follow directions. Sometimes, as is the case with the Windows Power Toys the install is initiated via the right click context menu. Programs that install this way have the extension ".inf" . When you right click on these files Windows adds "install" to the right click menu. You select that, click, and off you go.
